Kylix Melanomorfos 500 BC

The kylix was the vessel in which the ancient Greeks used mainly to drink wine. Their bottom was almost flat and was the main surface for paintings. This goblet depicts internally Hercules fighting the Amazons and externally images from chariot races. It is a copy of the classical period and appears around 500 BC. All our works are 100% made in the traditional way of the Ancients in Greece, handmade by collaborating workshops upon exclusive order. Dimensions: 30M x 25W x 15W cm.
